Are there any easy ways of crosslinking electrosprayed poly(acrylamide-co-acrylic acid) nanoparticles?

We have been using thermal imidization to crosslink P(AAm-co-AA) polymeric nanoparticles. Has anybody used any other method of crosslinking this kind of polymer?
