Shrinking cells after FOXP3 Perm/Fix for Flow cytometry normal?

I've been starting to use the eBioscience FOXP3 fix/perm kit and have noticed that my cells shrink to almost in half (FSC). Has anyone else noticed this? Any suggestions for how to prevent this?...
