How to get rid of DMSO in a solution?

One of my compound has been dissolved in DMSO for the enzyme inhibitory assay as stock solution. Now I need to recover it from DMSO. Is there any quick method to recover it? The compound is a sterol.

Is there any difference between using a big flat ordinary silica column or a long narrow column for separating the same amount of sample?

What are differences between the two? Of course the amount of silica may vary. As for speed of the column, I think the big column will run more time efficiently but will not produce satisfactory...
