Dopamine, DOPAC and HVA discrepancy in (unilateral) 6-OHDA lessoned rat. Explanation?

In 6-OHDA lessoned rats, post mortem quantification showed reduced DA and HVA in the lessoned striatum, but no changes in DOPAC. Any ideas why? Thank you very much in advance!

May the lack of RIPA buffer cause the diffuse bands on alpha-tubulin loading control?
