I want to extract water from mixture of ptsa monohydrate and dmap in tolunene ... is it a good idea to heat the mixture in excess toluene over night?

(i have covered the mouth of the measuring glass cylinder with an aluminum foil containing small holes ... and maintaining a temperature at 105 deg C)
