How to separate the calcium carbonate skeleton from slurry of mucus, tissue and skeleton?

I have extracted microbial DNA from Acropora Milliopora, I have to grind all the part of the coral, and I want to separate the calcium carbonate skeleton from slurry of mucus, tissue and skeleton.
