Can anyone suggest which primer(s) (oligo dt/random hexamer or both) would be good to generate E. coli cDNA?

Knowing that very low percentage of E. coli mRNA is polyadenylated, perhaps random hexamer should also be used to generate even the 1st strand of cDNA, instead of oligo (dt) primer?

How can I reduce background alkane repeat units (28.03 m/z apart) which is possibly coming from fatty acid chains of lipid while acquiring MS data?
