How can I solve high pressure problems caused by port 6 and 1 in the automated agilent 1100hplc autosampler six port injector ?

There is high pressure when port 1 of the autosampler switching valve  is connected while the tubing from port 6 is disconnected.  Again if I backflush port 6 with port 1 the pressure still remain...
