Who introduced the UV/vis absorbance ratio A260/A230 as quality measure to detect impurities in nucleic acid samples?

I have found that the A260/A280 was apparently first introduced by Warburg and Christian in 1942, but I haven’t been able to find the original publication about the A260/A230 ratio. Can anyone help?
