Does anyone know how the heat transfer coefficient of an evaporating refrigerant changes with respect to the evaporator length?

I think I read somewhere that the heat transfer coefficient increases over the evaporator length until it reaches the dry out point. If this is true, I think it only holds for a specific flow...
