Has anyone here used formalin-based parasiticides to sample ectoparasites of marine fishes?

I am specifically interested in these U.S. FDA-approved products: Formalin-F, Formacide-B, or Parasite-S. Is one of these products superior to the others?  Do all work equally well in saltwater? ...
