I have synthesized Cobalt nano particles, in XRD pattern there are no sharp peaks found, what could be the reason for this?

Why conductivity decreases with increase of metal nanoparticle content in conducting polymer?

I have seen in some conducting polymer/metal nanocomposites there is decrease in conductivity with increase of metal content.
