What are the complexities involved in the electronic circuitry of a Brush-less DC motor when compared to a brushed DC?

What are all the motor drivers that I can use? My objective is to drive a 150 Kg robot using two motors on a rough terrain? Torque requirement is 80 Kg-cm. Is it suitable to use a brushless motor?
