Can a Line Start PM synch Motor be used with a VSD which is used for Induction Motor for speed or load control ?

Now a days we get LSPMSM by many vendors.  wondering if  a Line Start PM synch Motor be used with a VSD which is used for Induction Motor for speed or load control ? theoritically it should run ..
