Hello all, I have monthly data for rainfall in the unit kg m-2 month-1 but I need the data to be in mm/month. Could someone please help me out?

I have downloaded 1 km resolution data from chelsa website.The monthly raster images are in kg/m2/month. I need them to be in mm/month for my analysis. Kindly help me with this problem. Thank you
