I am extracting RNA of yeast-bacterial planktonic cells using nanodrop. I keep getting 1.97 on 260/280 RNA. Can I use the sample for qPCR?

Should I keep repeating the extraction process. I am using Easy-REdBYF total RNA extraction kit. Are there any tips on improving conc.? 260/230 value is between 1.5 & 1.9.

Is there a method to extract cell membrane proteins of c. albicans from a mixed species biofilm? Without using a kit?

I am looking for a method without using kits. Or an efficient method with economical kits.
