I am producing bio-oil ( with a mixture of tar) .What are the important parameters I should test?

These bio-oil should be used in car engines ideally. I understand that heat content is an important parameter, along with smell, viscosity, knocking etc.

Does anyone know a transparent polymer material which can sustain at high temperature ?

The material should be cost effective. I want to use those material to coat my pyrolysis reactor.
