Why conduction of anti parallel diode of MOSFET causes excessive heating in a bidirectional converter?

For a conventional BDC, the anti parallel diode of MOSFET gets heated up and draws high current after one or 2 minutes of conduction. I have tried with MOSFET IRF540 and TI MOSFET CSD19533KCS....
