Why we are not using FeTiO3/Fe2TiO5 for Dye sensitized solar cells, most of them applied for Photo electro chemical water splitting?

I found this particular materials (FeTiO3/Fe2TiO5) focused on PEC water splitting system i found very less DSSCs efficiency even less than 1%, it is lower than pure TiO2 why it is happen. but...
