How to compare AOD if you have months of missing MODIS data and no AERONET data?

I am calculating the radiative forcing of Black carbon using SBDART, I need satellite AOD to compare AOD from OPAC but there is no MODIS data for 3 months (Jul. to Sep. 2019) and no AERONET data....
