I don't see nitrogen in the oxidizer(air). Should I consider nitrogen while calculating mass fractions?

How to calculate the mass fractions of species in multi-step reactions?

I'm trying to simulate premixed combustion in fluent. I'm using methane-air mixture for combustion with a 2 step reduced mechanism. I'm confused about the mass fraction calculations.
