Upon melting, which thermoplastic polymer would optimally form a uniform thin film on an object dipped in it?

The thin film should be easy to peel away after cooling if applied to a variaty of solid surfaces.

With respect to electromagnetic waves, decreasing wavelength results in higher energy radiation.

In lasers however, this doesn't apply and lasers with higher wavelength such as Er.Yag cut hard tissue better than lasers with lower wavelength such as diode for example.Why?
