If we try to trace a segmentation of consecutive characters using Python it will need more memory and more time too. Can we make use of Artificial Intelligent Programming?
Are there other techniques for segmentation except Peter Norvig?
Any of them , but there exist a way already discussed or done
+1 for python, since it is more intuitive and alignes in the way we think logically. Moreover, segmentation of text characters in python is not that difficult. For such purposes, nltk (http://www.nltk.org/) can be used. Also, considering the present day computational availability, memory will not be an issue.
If your characters are in an image, I recommend you to use opencv. If they are words, I recommend you to use Stanford NLTK package.
Thanks for all , we had done segmentation using one of AI tools ( Prolog) and it gives effective result and accurate , soon i'll publish the research
