I have tested it using my laptop and my mobile device. On my mobile device I had the issue mentioned already - the page had to be resized sometimes.

I like the addition of the hashtags.

As my background is sensory descriptors, it will be a pleasure to discuss the selection of descriptors. Would it be possible to collect user descriptors as it is impossible to have a full collection of terms? Will English be the language of choice?

I like the overall experience scale :-D That should be possible to be understood globally!

Yes. Tested it from a mobile. The only issue is that I had to resize the screen each time.

And there should be controls to navigate to the preceding screen or quit.

Yesterday when I tested on the mobile phone I didn't notice the back arrow that permits to return to the preceeding screen. So I think it's OK. Maybe it's because on mobile phones we are most used to back and quit widgets on the bottom of the screen.

Is the app aimed for mobiles or for other platforms too?

I join two files with screenshots: what I get on laptop and what I get on smartphone.

In the 3rd example (screen photos laptop.jpg) I don't know how to go back to preceding activity or screen.

The Home button leads to the homepage.

I think there should also be a quit button.

If you are more specific on what you need to know via testing, I can be more precise.

Thank you so much for the detailed feedback - it's really helpful! The mockup is designed as a mobile app only. I have updated it to more accurately fit within mobile screens.

I agree with you on the lack of navigation options on the third screen you posted. Thanks for pointing that out!

Just test the app with my laptop. The whole experience was quite nice and "smoothy".

I have two small suggestions that I hope could make the whole user-experience more friendly, and also is nice to obtain data more efficiently.

1. Add hashtag

For me, most of the time, hashtag is the thing to show the extracted data. For example, the position, the time and the keywords of the posting. It's quite easy to catch the information by checking the hashtag. Also nice for people with common interests to interact . It is a good way to classify the data, readers who have such habits can find topics of interest in a short time.

Especially I think it is nice to create some specific labels(hashtag) for cooking, also for our APP( for example, the "crispy", "fruit", "vegetarian", "arroz".)

2. Create a personal panel individually

Also, from my perspective. I checked the personal homepage panel a lot. Like the screenshot I attached from Instagram. I focus a lot on how many followers do I have, how many "like" do I receive today and how dose my homepage look like to others.

Those are just my opinions, hope you won't mind if it doesn't make any sense to you :)

For the individual page, do you mean a personal profile page or a page that summarizes the most recent activity on your posts? Unfortunately, I can't see the screenshot you attached.

Great, this helps a lot!

There is actually a personal profile page (when you click on the "user" icon in the top left of the screen) as well as a notification overview (when you click on the "heart" icon in the bottom bar). I have attached a screenshot to help you find them.

Do these pages suffice for the purpose you mentioned? If not, how can they be extended to be more useful? If yes, how do you think could we make them more noticeable to the user?

Thanks for the feedback!

We want the app to be available in multiple languages which is why user-defined terms might be difficult. If a user enters Japanese descriptors, a person who does not speak the language does not know anything about the taste experience of the dish (apart from the smiley rating).

Additionally, if we want to use the taste terms for building a dish recommendation system, I am not sure how well it would perform.

That is why I initially decided to use the taste experience vocabulary collected by Prof Andres in the mockup.

The taste experience is cultural-oriented. let me share the Cook-Smarts Study of flavor profiles which classifies basic flavor profiles and the various variations of these basic flavors in the dishes.

Version 1: The long list of taste terms

nice idea to create different versions. I tried in my laptop and cell and in both of them I had to resize it. But I had the same issue with other apps in the market.

The overall experience was good!

Are you planning to include a place where the users share if the dish is veggie, vegan, non-diary, and so on ?

Also, if the dish is homemade or served in a restaurant?

Dear Frederic Thank you for sharing the mobile app. The user experience is great and cool. I would like to mention one issue I have noticed in all three dishes. Users should be able to submit their comments by pressing ENTER key, in addition to SUBMIT button. Thank you and best wishes Rajkumar

thanks for sharing this app. I tested it on my laptop. It works well and it is very nice. A suggestion: when a user gives a comment to a dish, please provide the delete functionality.
