Wonder how the ResearchGate archive of Q & A regarding certain topics will develop in future. Will they come up with a "best of" mechanism? And how would it work? How will a text that has been voted up as good answer today be seen in a year or two or in ten or twenty years? Could ResearchGate be a tool helping institutions of higher education, research and the arts develop as learning institutions?
As far as my concern, I think R.G plays a vital role for research as learning community.Its dedicated approach towards the Scientific Questions and their reliable and flexible answer would explore new Ideas and resolve tedious complexity of problems related to Higher education.
For now search abilities are rather rudimentary. It is near to impossible to find past relevant discussion. It severely limits utilization RG as a base of knowledge. Search engine should be updated.
