If I have to give my honest opinion AI would not be replacing IT Professionals, but instead it would be creating a new type & generations of job roles that will have involvement of AI in some case like AI Engineering, or End User AI usage on jobs in the domains of Operations, Finance, Human Resource, Marketing, Sales, & IT Support Departments etc. of any organisations.

Then yes, it will create new tech-enabled human roles in the industries all over the globe.
