I have recorded a typical nyquist plot for ( La0.6Sr0.4Co0.2Fe0.8O3) LSCF - Doped ceria nanocomposite which is a mixed ionic Electronic conductor. The sample has taken in the form of 10mm pellet. I have observed the plot showing a negative (inductive) line followed by a reverse (towards left side) straight line especially at high temperature. (>120°C. ). Moreover the curve showing normal RC semicircle when the temperature is reduced to
hie ajit , the inductive loop indicates the line resistance
second kindly zoom in the plot to mili or micro ohms
third the lscf is an MIEC so u r observing a dc out put linear line but it should either be curved or liner and not parallel to horizontal plane
Thanks Priya. As you said Dc conduction would be present in the material. But why the line getting reverse and harizondal line. or is it correct way to characterize such samples (MIEC) through AC impedance technique. Please suggest.
