why the contact angle increase with the increase of uv irradiation time?
Before I can answwer your questionn I need a few clarifications.
What did you irradiate: the surface, the liquid or both?
What was the surface?
What was the liquid
G. Bognolo
Guido Bognolo I irradiated the surface of my films (Polymer) with UV radiation, after I do the characterization for the contact angle, the liquid was water
I think the UV radiation may cause the breakingbof siome multiples bonfin in the polymer film, thus increasing its hydrophobicity.
Best regards
G.Bognolo
