Even if you are an artist/painter you cannot use just light colors against light or dark against dark. The only way the painting comes out looking nice is to use contrasts of light against dark and vice versa. Life is just like that. Unless you have contrasts in feelings or emotions you would never appreciate the nuance of any one type of feeling or emotion. Life would be just boring if all you can do is to experience only one type of feeling.

Essentially the later(in the above examples) have no existence, rather they are the absence of the former.
If we would like to enjoy life, we should have to accept death and to know what it is all about.
Similarly as continuous day leads to monotony and stress......It is the night in between that can glorify the forthcoming day....to enjoy, to feel, to survive and to be happy.
