Hard to know without exact details of simulation, but most likely - parasitic capacitance and inductance to surrounding objects, Earth, etc... (barring bugs in the simulation software).

Dear Rajas Khokle, you should check how the loop is modeled for inductance calculation purpose in order to validate your calculation of L only using the simple expression X=wL, as you did. We don't know, for instance, whether the simulation considers only the inductance due to the loop or it includes the self inductance of the conductor which is influenced by frequency dependent skin effect.

Keep in mind also inductance definition. As we know, it is related to the linked magnetic flux and the electric current. The magnetic flux depends on permeability, current and distances. Linked magnetic field depends on efective area, which is dependent of frequency.

I guess I found out the answer. The minima is the result of two opposing phenomena. One is skin effect that tries to reduce the fields, and other is Wave Effect via Maxwell's 4th equation (Ampere's Law). Curl B=J+dD/dT. With increasing frequency, dD/dT increases which increase the B field and so the inductance. As frequency increases, the phase difference between two arms of loop increases. This gives rise to more electric fields and so the inductance is increased.

I came late to this question but i find it very interesting. My question is do you simulate the loop while you inject an ac current in it and calculate the voltage across its terminal. Then V= I Z,

If you consider both electric and magnetic field resulting from the current in the loop then you have an LCR equivalent circuit. In order to interpret the simulation results one has to calculate Z magnitude as a function of frequency.

The second comment is whit is the dimensions pf metal wire and its material? How large is the simulation space and how the loop is contained in the space?
