I have made a GUI in python and made it a standalone. But now when I double click it, there flashes a dos window but the GUI doesn't appears. It appears when I start that program in the default folder, where it is created by default, but it doesn't works when I paste it on desktop. I want it to work without any dependencies, please help.
To help you, you need to supply some more information:
-which GUI library do you use?
-how do you start it? By clicking an icon, from inside IDLE, or some other way?
-try to trim down the script (remove all gui elements but one) and post a minimal version of your code that displays this behaviour
Not so strange if the I/O arguments are not commanded well.
Try something like running it from DOS or redo your script...

What do you mean by "made it standalone"? The fact that it works from default folder but not after being "pasted to desktop" suggests that your script has some dependencies/imports that can not be found when being run from desktop.
You have to convert your python script to exe. Use py2exe modul to do that. So you will generate a execute with additional libraries (.dll), which can be shared regardless is python installed on the machine or not. But before check your script for dependencies as mentioned above.
you have to open it from a command window to know what is the error by run cmd from the start menu
