This is a huge limitation of RG... I should be able to add any citations from external databases into my citations in RG or better yet RG should be able to scan GoogleScholar and other databases and add them automatically as GoogleScholar does.
Google takes all citations to your article across the web into consideration, whereas it appears Researchgate considers only the citations on its database.
