Transient nucleate boiling process is not enough deeply and widely investigated. Its duration is extremely important for hardening of steels and is connected with the self - regulated thermal process. During this process, surface temperature of steel parts maintains at the level of boiling point of a liquid relatively a long time. By adjustment of pressure or concentration of water solutions, it is possible to monitor phase transformation in steels to provide super-strengthening of material and create very high compression residual stresses at the surface of steel parts after hardening. Both factors increase service life of machine components and tools almost 2 - 8 times. At present, a new IQ-2 technology and equipment are successfully used in heat treating industry. To accelerate developments in this field, thermal and material scientists are invited to discuss the new characteristics of transient nucleate boiling process in the frame of Research-Gate ( RG ) and then at the WSEAS/NAUN Conferences.
