There is another way to link Matlab with DIgSilent. This way requires a dynamic link library between Matlab and DIgsilent called DLL.

Firstly, convert your designed model based matlab to a C++ file.

Secondly, from the C++, generate a file.dll.

Thirdy, inject the file.dll into the power factory installtion path.

Finally, open interface library in DIgsilent ( with a specific code) to link the DIgsilent model with the dll.file.

This way is a bit difficult, but I mentioned it just in case you guys want to know about it.

It is copy righted, otherwise I would send you the codes. Although, I think that you may find some of the free videos helpful.

I extremely recommend that you that implement the optimization in DPL, since the DIgSILENT-MATLAB link uses the text files and it is rather slow.
