How can machine learning techniques play a role in HVAC systems? I am searching for techniques that are used for making efficient HVAC systems. And which issues of HVAC are solved by using these techniques. Need some reliable sources for understanding use and working of machine learning techniques in making HVAC systems.
To my knowledge, in HVAC many pupms and blowers are used and a computer controls the on / off switching of these systems to control the temperature. I therefore can asure you that artificial neural networks may find a fair amount of use as control mechanisms that can be trained to meet ambient temperature requirements. ANNs may also find use in "smart home" special uses, in learning the occupants' preferences for room temperature settings. If ANNs are a hastle to implemment, than a simpler tool which is based on the same mathematical principle is logistic regression. Look these up in the search engines for more information. Good luck!
thank you for your response. i am also basically searching on use of ANNs in HVAC. but unable to find any appropriate model using ANN for this purpose. can you please share some stuff (literature or project names) on use of ANN in HVAC systems.
