Which material reinforcement to PMMA is best to increase its mechanical properties?

After adding graphene or graphite PMMA loses its transparency although not much increase in mechanical properties is observed.

Try using some ceramic whiskers (like SiO2 or Al2O3) which may not be as opaque as Carbon based materials.
