It says it's a first forward difference but I tried with this python code and I don't have the same results:

Solved.

The code is just dGSR.append((GSR[i+1]-GSR[i])

The first image is so much different from the reference just because the raw data are very different from the reference one. I tried with other data I have I result I like more. The problem I see now is: in the first image there seem to be many many triggers.
