I think it is some sort of shrimpgoby. Voucher specimen has been preserved.
Collected from the Saint Martin's Island of the Bay of Bengal - presents a small coral formation surrounding the beachline.
Important distinguishing characters are not visible, but judging from the head and body shape and colour pattern, Bathygobius cyclopterus is more likely (see the broad yellow outer part of the dorsal and caudal fins).

It would be good to see details of the upper pectoral-fin rays, the head scales in lateral and dorsal view, and details of the corner of the mouth.
