Which chemical is best for digestion of water, sediment and fish gut sample for Microplastic related research?

So many chemical (HNO3,H2O2,KOH) used for digestion procedure......

Hello,

I saw or heard for water and sediment was digested (organic matter solvation) by 30% H2O2, about fish gut was digested by 30% H2O2 + high concentration NaOH solution.
