Hi,

I am designing a electric immersion heater for a Molten Sulphur Tank heating.

The fluid to be heated is the molten sulfur with small amount of hydrogen (H2)

bubbles to 450 Deg C.

I am worried about the Material of construction suitable to operate in this fluid.

Which is better suited ( in terms of corrosion resistance) in these listed materials( SS321, SS316, Incoloy 800, Inconel 600, Inconel 625, Incoloy 825, Incoloy 840)

The wall thickness of the heating elements ( which will be immersed into the molten sulphur) will be 1.25 mm only & heated to a max 550 deg C temp.
