We have conducted two tests in accordance with the chloride resistance of alkali activated slag mortars :RCMT and bulk diffusion.
Two different alkaline activators were investigated : NaOH+Na2SiO3 and KOH+Na2SiO3.
According to the 90 days migration and diffusion coefficients obtained, NaOH mortars performed better, however migration coefficient of NaOH were relatively lower than that of KOH mixtures.
Any ideas about the explanation ?
Warm regards,
