I have already have satellite data derived soil moisture index. Also downscaled soil moisture obtained from ESA CCI soil moisture data products. To validate these data I need in situ soil moisture data for India. Where can I get it?
it is not easy to get in-stu data at national level, if your study area is small, you can check with nearest ARS stations.

In-situ soil moisture data is available at"Crop Weather Outlook" website. They provide weekly basis soil moisture data for 25 AICRP on Agrometeorology Centres throughout India (one centre for each State). If you need further help you can contact me.
