Where our planet(earth) and other planets formed in situ? Are orbital changes relatively frequent? Is the crustal earth still growing and recycling in the mantle equivalently? Why the huge heat of the earth interior doesn't come out to the surface, where the thickness of the crust is so little relative to the mantle and core?
I am sure the planets of the solar system formed in situ where the solar nebula collapsed by gravity into the sun plus planets.
If you throw a block of granite into an open fire, it will take time to heat up. If you take it out of the fire when red-hot, it will radiate heat all night (that is how we warm our tents in the winter months). Thus, heat moves slowly through a block of rock. In the same way, heat moves upwards from the core and mantle, but it takes a long time for heat to move to the surface, some 6,000 km away from the centre.

You have other interesting question… You can make the next experiment… Theke a different thick of granite table and cover with it a same small cubic spaces and every evening measure the temperatures inside of cubic spaces… you will get that in the cubic space which was covered the thickest granite table there you will measure the lowest temperature… You will able to find a such a thick granite table that which will isolate the cubic sphere such a way that you will not have changing of temperature.
