I am new to the field of State Estimation. I have searched Internet and I found the test case data for IEEE x-Bus Test case where x = 9,14,108,etc.
I don't know how to use that data and with what simulation packages. I have got one report where Jacobian measurement matrix H, state vector X, measurement vector Z were given.
Does there exists any methd by which we can find H matrix by using the test case data provided by IEEE x-Bus case.

H is the measurement Jacobian matrix. Look in the book "A.Abur, A.Gomez-Exposito. Power System State Estimation, 2004" or "A.Monticelli. State Estimation in Electric Power System, 1999" to find how to calculate H.

you can get them from matpower and, PSAT softwares, there is also a book Benchmark systems for network integration of renewable and distribution energy resources" Task force C6.04 April 2014

I am facing one more problem.
Can anyone please help me with the method of generating measurement vector Z? And how do we add noise and all? Is noise necessarily Gaussian?
Gaussian noise is a common assumption. In real life, the occasional gross errors indicate that the probability density function of the measurement errors have longer tails. In addition, measurements contain systematic errors, the effect of which should be considered especially when using the PMU.
