I am looking for publications about concrete sorptivity dependence on the shape and size of the sample. I know: W. Dias. Influence of drying on concrete sorptivity in Magazine of Concrete Research, 2004. and various articles which indicate that the result does not depend on the size of the sample. Looking for information on other studies on the subject.

In my view, the sample described in the article were not different enough to draw general conclusions. These were cylinders of the same diameter and different height.
In the future I plan to publish the results of research on the subject. According to my research, the sample size has a significant impact on the outcome sorptivity.
Sorptivity does not depend on the shape or the size of sample; but it depend on the size of pores and the specific surface of soil. A high initial moisture content can also negatively influence the value of soil sorptivity; I developed a theory where i found out a link between hydraulic conductivity and soil sorption characteristics; All the demonstrations essentially based on pore sizes (or categories) shaw that so more important is the soil content in fine pores, so higher is the soil sorptivity and vis versa !
