Where can I find data/research on standardized/district assessments in special education?

I would like to research the effects of standardized/district-wide assessment on special education students (high school - urban districts). As an educator I find it challenging for my students (special education students who have significant learning deficits) to be expected to perform on standardized tests the same as general education and the talented and gifted. I am looking for research and data on this subject matter.
