I would suggest : Depending on the initial scale. So if initially (charges) state is +10 then it needs to be in a given range (>0 say) . If relatively measuring it then the difference will have to be looked at .

Residual Energy is the percentage of energy remaining in the network to the Initial Energy of the network after the first node dies. Therefore, the larger the Residual Energy the better.

It shows the likelihood of the remaining nodes in the network to stay longer.
