In some cases, implementing agencies demonstrate the technology at farmers' field or subsidies the technology to farmers for some years. And (s)he might be thoroughly involved during such engagement. However, may be after the exit of agency/project farmers divert to other technologies.
A farmer adopts a technology when he actually satisfied with this technology and he gets profit and gains something through it. The technology which (s)he adopted is satisfying him/her in his/her conditions, then we can say farmer adopts a idea or technology.
If (s)he surrender that technology and starts to engage in another project then he/she hasn't adopted the any technology.
Only the technology whose adoption is profitable to him in his conditions is the adoption.
The project/agency with subsidies can be the temporary one but on his/her own basis without any external support if he/she still uses and go through the technology then we can call it as Adoption.
When the farmers relies completely on the modern technology used in agriculture for the more secure productions, using all the means and resources available to produce more and to safe guard the environment and health.
Define adoption and define “farmer” - initial interest and willingness to try a product that may have to be “tried” through a complete season does not equate to adoption. Multiple time units and the complete replacement of the preceding method would be a fair definition of adoption. However this also needs to be correlated by industry - a few early adopters trialling a product does not equate to adoption, potentially you would be looking at a significant portion of the industry over multiple time units (more likely to be seasons and years) to call it adoption.
The farmer starts using the technology when it is available to him cheaply and safely, and after training how to use of technology in agriculture ,at this time, the farmer can fully use the technology, but now, those who use the technology are the owners of large farms and have only financial ability

The farmer adopts the new technology when he is accustomed to it with great profit and low cost. This is due to the farmer's awareness through the channels concerned with this and the existence of trust between them.
