Part of the paper is devoted to looking at the internal structure of the stigma scale, and one has to say that this is the kind of thing that should be done by consenting adults in private, because it is unreadable. I haven't heard of the "Clustering around Latent Variables" analysis, but I am reminded of the words of the late Alvin Feinstein, who said that "wouldn't it be nice if one day a latent variable ceased to be latent so we could all see it?". I have no idea at all at to what a CLV analysis is supposed to look like, nor do I know what a Mokken scaling procedure is, and nor do I wish to know.
