I include the following in basic entrepreneurship education: generating ideas, evaluating their feasibility, selecting one or more ideas to pursue, crafting a viable business model, writing up a business plan, presenting that plan.
Consequently, advanced entrepreneurship education includes: establishing the venture, formalizing and/or refining the mission, vision, values & strategy, hiring people and building the team, allocating resources, marketing the product(s) or service, making/selling the product(s) or providing the service.
In my views advanced entrepreneurship education and training shall include imparting knowledge about expansion, diversification, optimum resource utilisation, searching new markets. It can also include knowledge about different forms of organisation and tax implications for the same. Participants can also be made knowledgeable about transition phase i.e. process of passing the control to professionals etc.
thank you, these are very good replies. yet, i think the question can be elaborated on still.
to change and expand the perspective, lets also ask the question: what would you include in a training program for experienced entrepreneurs - that is non-novice entrepreneurs?
